iPhone companion

The iOS app exists for one job the desktop cannot do: a supervised run blocks on a tool approval and auto-denies after five minutes. The phone shows that prompt, live runs, and a chat follow-up.

It does not replace the Mac app. Pairing is to your Open Run server, not to a hosted account.

Pair

1. On the Mac, start Open Run with mobile access on (pnpm dev:mobile in development).
2. Open Devices → Pair a phone.
3. In the iOS app, scan the QR or type the address and the 8-character code. The code lasts five minutes and works once.

Away from the LAN, use an https tunnel and set AGENTOPS_MOBILE_HOSTS (or the current mobile-hosts env) so the Mac accepts that Host header.

Push (optional)

Without push, approvals only reach you while the app is open. Real pushes need a paid Apple Developer account and an APNs key on the Mac:

The AGENTOPS_APNS_* names still work. The key stays a file on disk.
